Direct Debit Scheme
What is Direct Debit?
A Direct Debit is a written authority between two parties ie an Originator and a Payer which allows one party (the Originator) to debit funds from the payer's account to settle monthly commitments or debt obligations.
Benefits
This service is used mainly to process payments that tend to appear at regular intervals and of the same amounts, such as insurance premiums.

Customers can arrange direct debits with the bank so that their regular payments, bills and other obligations that recur can be managed by the bank.
