Bancassurance is the integration of banking and insurance business to take advantage of distribution channels. In most cases, the flow is one way where the Bank’s distribution network is used to sell insurance products.

These insurance products are now promoted and sold through the Co-operative bank network across the country. Thus the Co-operative Bank has now become a financial supermarket where all services can be received.
