Co-op Bank Foundation Induction and Mentorship Workshop

Twenty eight Co-operative Bank Foundation university scholarship beneficiaries have completed their mentorship training and induction at Co-operative Bank’s Leadership and Management Centre in Nairobi. The workshop was officially opened by Mrs. Evelyn Munyoki, Director Human Resource Division representing the bank’s Group Managing Director (GMD).

The workshop sought to introduce the beneficiaries to Co-operative Bank’s operations and equip them with requisite skills for academic and career success as they transit to university. In keeping with the spirit of the bank, the beneficiaries were exposed to social entrepreneurship as a way of giving back to the community.

Accompanied by the Company Secretary (CS), Mrs. Munyoki welcomed the participants to the Co-operative Bank family on behalf of the bank and gave an overview of the bank and the values that have helped it grow to its current position.

The CS then gave an overview of the scholarship program and reiterated the value of hard work.
