The following terms and conditions apply to Personal Internet Banking customer cash-back rewards for bill payment transactions, and by participating, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the same:

  1. Campaign period

The Personal Internet banking customer cash-back rewards will run from 29th November 2021 to 28th January 2022

  1. Eligibility
  • The rewards are open to the public. 
  • Not eligible to Co-operative Bank staff 
  • Eligible bills:
    • KPLC Pre-paid and Post paid
    • DSTV, GoTv, Zuku Tv, Startimes Tv
    • Zuku internet
    • Safaricom internet
    • Nairobi Water
    • KRA
    • Safaricom post paid
    • Safaricom Pay to till and Pay to paybill
  • Cooperative Bank reserves the right to determine participant eligibility beyond the Campaign parameters. 
  1. Guidelines of the campaign:
  • 10% cash back shall be awarded to bill payment transactions that will be done using Personal Internet Banking between 29th November 2021 and 28th  January 2022 
  • The 10% cash back reward is subject to a maximum of Kes 400.00 per bill payment transaction
  • The Bank will reward only successful transactions
  • A customer can get rewarded for multiple bill payments
  • The 10% cash-back reward shall be credited to the customer’s Co-op Bank account on the same day or the following working day depending on the bill payment date and time. ; 
    • Transactions done before 4.00 pm on a working day will be rewarded on the same day. 
    • Transactions done after 4.00 pm on a working day be rewarded on the following working day.
    • Transactions done at any time on a Saturday, a Sunday or a Public Holiday will be rewarded on the following working day.
  • Customers who are rewarded with the 10% cash-back will get an SMS notifying them of the credit to their account
  1. How to participate in the campaign

To participate, follow the campaign mechanism below; 

  • Pay any of the eligible bills using Personal Internet Banking. If you are not yet registered, you can register yourself by following the steps below:
    • Ensure you have a valid Co-op bank ATM card
    • Visit
    • Click on REGISTER
    • Enter your details – Name, ID number, ATM card number, etc
    • Create a username, password, and select security features
    • You will receive an SMS confirmation that registration is complete
    • Open your email and click on the activation link
    • Log in and start transacting
  • Our team will capture your successful bill payment transaction and you will get rewarded according to the guidelines of the campaign  
  1. Notification to participants
  • Customers rewarded with the 10% cashback will get an SMS notifying them of the credit to their account.
  1. Other terms and conditions
  2. The Co-operative Bank of Kenya reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who is not deemed viable.
  3. The reward is non-transferable
  4. By participating in this campaign, the Co-operative Bank of Kenya (or their appointed agents) reserves the right to use the names and images of the participants in any publicity campaign.
  5. In the event of any dispute regarding these Terms & Conditions, conduct, results, and all other matters relating to the campaign, the decision by Co-operative Bank of Kenya Limited (or their appointed agent) shall be final.
