He joined the bank in 2002. He is a career banker with over 25 years of experience in local and international banks. He has previously held various senior positions including Chief Operating Officer and Director, Retail Banking for 8 years where he presided over the transformation of the Retail and SME business at the Bank and later drove the Bank’s Human Resource and Administration Division. Director Samuel Birech brings solid human resource Management expertise into the dynamic Retail and Business Banking Division where he is a proven expert.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi and has attended various local and international courses. He is a Board Member at Pan Africa Christian University.
