Our client, a Regulated Medium-Sized Deposit Taking Sacco based in Nairobi is urgently seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated ICT Systems Officer to join their team. 

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing and maintaining the SACCO’s ICT infrastructure, networks, servers, and applications. 
2. Providing technical support to users and ensuring minimal system downtime. 
3. Administering the Core Banking/SACCO Management System and related digital platforms. 
4. Monitoring system performance and implementing improvements. 
5. Managing ICT security, access controls, backups, and disaster recovery procedures. 
6. Maintaining network equipment, firewalls, routers, switches, and internet connectivity. 
7. Ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with ICT policies. 
8. Coordinating software upgrades, installations, and system integrations. 
9. Maintaining ICT asset inventory and software licenses. 
10. Supporting mobile banking, internet banking, ATM, and agency banking platforms. 
11. Preparing ICT reports and recommendations for management. 
12. Training staff on ICT systems and emerging technologies. 
13. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• Professional ICT certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISA, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or related certifications will be an added advantage. 
• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in ICT systems administration, networking, or ICT support, preferably within a SACCO, microfinance institution, or banking environment. 
• Experience in managing Core Banking/SACCO Management Systems. 
• Knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, database management, and system administration. 
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and data backup management.
