Our client is a medium-sized Deposit Taking Sacco based in Nairobi that seeks to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the position of SME Relationship Officer.
Reporting to the Credit Manager will be responsible for the recruitment of new customers, managing existing business clientele, maintaining a quality loan portfolio, and cross-selling the Sacco products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
2. Explore business opportunities.
3. Analyze the Creditworthiness of the customers.
4. Loan disbursement and portfolio management.
5. Maintain a healthy relationship with customers and stakeholders.
6. Maintain excellent customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. A business degree (Business Management/Administration, Banking, Economics, Statistics or related field) from a recognized University with at least 3 years experience; OR a Diploma in Credit Management with at least 5 years experience in a Financial institution dealing with SME Market. 
2. Professional qualifications in Credit Management (CCP) or equivalent. 
3. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, negotiation skills, and interpersonal skills, focused, self-driven and attentive to detail.
